Lost and Found
It’s cold out there! If your student is missing any sweaters or jackets, please ask them to check the lost and found. Feel free to stop by to check as well. We want to get these warm items back into their hands!
STEAM Night for 4th and 5th grade FamiliesÂ
We’re excited to partner with Cathy Law from Oregon State to provide a STEAM night opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students and their families! Cathy provides Lego Robotics to students at Garfield with her team each year and we are grateful for this opportunity.
Child Protection Lessons
Each year, our teachers teach the required Erin’s law lessons which are designed to teach children about personal safety, boundaries, and how to recognize and report unsafe situations. The lessons will be age-appropriate and will be delivered in a thoughtful, sensitive manner to ensure that all students feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.We have attached a letter with more information about these lessons.
