Happy October! Autumn is officially here, and between the crisp mornings and gorgeous sunrise views, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic season. We have a busy month ahead at Garfield! Here are some key updates:
Picture Day is coming on Thursday, October 8!
You can place your order on mylifetouch.com using your Picture Day ID: EVTXMPC83.Order before midnight on Picture Day to get FREE shipping!
Your child can also bring their completed flyer with exact cash or check on PictureDay. Teachers will send home flyers next week in Friday folders. Let us know if you did not receive it and need another copy.

Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found is full again! If your child is missing any sweatshirts, jackets or any other items they brought to school, please stop by to check the lost and found. We ask that you write their names in their items so that we can get those back to them when they leave them behind.
Please note: We donate everything in the lost and found about every couple of months because we have to make room for items that students leave behind with no names.
Conferences
Conferences are coming up at the end of the month. There is no school from October 28th to October 30th. You will be receiving a Parent Square message at around the end of next week to sign up for a conference time with your child’s teacher. Please be on the lookout for that message.
