Dear Garfield Families,
A special thank you to Ingrid Arocho, Amanda Cordes, and Jessie Munster from the Garfield PTA, as well as all of the wonderful coaches who helped make Lucha Libros possible for our students! We had about 15 teams dive into a fantastic variety of Spanish books to prepare for the competition, and every single team did a phenomenal job. A huge congratulations to the Condores Andinos for winning the final battle! We are so proud of the incredible sportsmanship and love of reading shown by all of our participants.
Lost and Found
As students change out their winter layers for spring and summer layers, there may be new items to add their names to! Please continue to write student names in their articles of clothing that they may remove at school to help make sure they go home with them.
Feel free to stop by to check the lost and found if your child is missing a jacket, sweater, or any other layer they came to school with. We will be donating items after the school year ends.
May, End of Year Evening Event: Garfield Talent Show:
Our end of year evening event will be a Garfield talent show! If your child would like to perform, please have them sign up at the QR code sent through parentsquare. They can also let their teacher or our Dean, Claudia Cano, know if they would like help with signing up.
