Gecko Run! Thanks to all our teachers and volunteers who worked to put on the annual Gecko Run! A special thanks to Carolyn Menke for coordinating this inclusive event! An envelope with the amount of laps your student ran was sent home last week. Please send your envelope back with pledge donations back to your classroom. Donations are optional.
Spanish-Speaking Parent volunteer group meetings! Join us every Friday (school days) from 8:20-10am in the cafeteria to meet more parents, work on classroom projects, and discuss topics of interest. Everyone is welcome!
Tamale Sale! – Mark your calendars for the Garfield School Tamale Sale – Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th! We will be sending home more information soon on how to volunteer and how to order delicious tamales to support our school and PTA.
2019 Noche de Alma Lationameriana Concert – An all-Spanish language music and cultural event for the entire family including piano, youth music performances, folkloric dancing, and art activities! This free event is on Sunday, October 20th, 2-5:30pm at the LaSells Stewart Center (875 SW 26th St, Corvallis)
