The classroom teacher is the HUB!
When your student has any type of problem in our school, the classroom teacher is always the first point of contact! Once the classroom teacher has heard your concern, they will determine who the best person to address the concern is. They will work with our school team to resolve any issues and support your child. Please talk to the teacher when:
- You have any concern about academic progress
- An incident happened in the classroom, recess, in the cafeteria, etc…
- There are friendship issues between your child and other students
Attendance
Just a reminder to be on time for school. Class starts promptly at 8:05 am. Here is our bell schedule:
- 1st bell rings at 8:00 am: all students are expected to go to their classroom at that time
- 2nd bell rings at 8:05 am: any student not in the classroom at that time will be written absent
- As soon as the second bell rings, at 8:05am, all students are to check in with our Attendance helper in the hallway or with our Attendance officer in the office. At that point, they are considered tardy
- All tardies need to be recorded in our Attendance program and will show on your student’s report card. If your student has tardies, please consider leaving your home a few minutes early so your student can arrive on time and not miss any instruction
