Principal's message
Dear Families,
Happy Friday! It is hard to believe we already made it through another week. Now that we are into somewhat of a routine with comprehensive distance learning, many families have received additional supplies and materials to continue to support learning at home. Our teachers are using a variety of methods to get these materials to you. Our school bus drivers are working hard to deliver supplies to families. If teachers intend to deliver materials, they will let you know when deliveries will happen. Teachers may also schedule a supply pick up, similar to how we distributed supplies at the beginning of the year. Teachers will contact you about pick up times and locations. If you cannot pick up supplies, just let your child’s teacher know and they will schedule a delivery. If you are needing school supplies that are not included in teacher supply kits, please let your child’s teacher know, we will do what we can to get you the materials your child needs.
In the next week, teachers will be scheduling Virtual Open House events. This will be an opportunity to hear from the grade level team about school at that grade level. We will be working to schedule meetings so that parents who have multiple children at Garfield will be able to attend the open house event for each grade level of the children.
