Dear Families,
Happy Friday! Just a quick note to let you know that grade level teams will be scheduling Informational Meetings for parents over the next few weeks. This will be an opportunity for parents to come together (virtually) to learn more about the class structure and what the grade level team will be focusing on for the year.
Teachers are working to be responsive to the parents of students in their classrooms so grade levels will be scheduling structures that work for their classrooms. If you have any questions, please touch base with your child’s classroom teacher.
During November or December (we are trying to find available time in the calendar) we will begin having parent informational nights that are larger than just a grade level. Parents have been sharing ideas for topics that they would like to hear more about. Some of the themes are around Dual Language, supporting children through an anxious time, and supporting children to engage in academic productive struggle. If you have ideas of themes that you feel would be relevant please let me know.
