Hello Garfield Families!
As we head into the second to last week of school for the 21-22 school year, the energy is starting to pick up around here! We are so excited to get to have families on site for kinder and fifth grade graduation and for your help with the mini-carnival field day events!
Carnival/Field Day:
Kindergarten and 5th grade have all the volunteers needed for their activities. We would love about 2 more volunteers for first, second, and fourth grades. If you are interested in volunteering and your volunteer registration is complete and cleared, please email me at [email protected].
(Please Note: It’s too late to register as a new volunteer this year – but don’t worry! There will be more opportunities next year!)
Report Cards
Report cards will be mailed out at the end of the day June 21, 2022.
Toys at School
Please have your child keep all of their toys at home. Toys (including cards like Pokeman or others) should not be brought to school.
Gecko Club and Boys & Girls Club
If your child is in the after school Gecko Club Program, please note that their last day of Gecko Club is Thursday, June 16th. There will not be bussing to the Boys and Girls Club on the 17th. Parents will need to pick their children up at Garfield for extra release at 12:30pm.
The Boys and Girls club is also closed on Friday, June 17th.
Can my student go to school?
- For students UP TO DATE on their vaccination (English)
- For students NOT up to date on their vaccination (English)
Important dates:
– June 13th & 14th: mini-carnival/Field Days by grade levels
– June 16th: 5th Grade Outdoor Graduation 12:45 – 2:00.
– June 17th: Kindergarten Graduation: 9:30am.
– June 17th: 2-hour early release (12:30pm)
