Dear Garfield Families,
It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Garfield Picnic and Open House. It felt great just to see families and children together at the school. Something we haven’t had a chance to enjoy in a while. My hope is that we can have a few more of those opportunities this year!
Garfield Compact:
At the picnic, I shared a bit about our Garfield Compact which is something we ask for due to being a Title 1 school. The compact is an agreement that the teacher, parent and student sign in recognition of each party’s responsibility as part of a team working together to best support the student. The compacts will be sent home with students by the end of next week. Please return the signed compacts to your child’s teacher, or feel free to drop them by the front office.
It’s almost picture day!
Picture day will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022.

Lost and Found:
We have a collection gathering in the lost and found. If your child has lost any articles of clothing, please feel free to come by before or after school to search the lost and found.
Early Release:
Today is an early release day. Students are dismissed at 1:30pm.
Tomorrow:
10 am -12 pm: Garfield Food Pantry
