Dear Garfield Families,
Today at 11:00 a.m. is our Garfield community Meet and Greet! Last week, teachers sent out messages welcoming their students to the new school year.
You can drop by anytime between 11:00 and 12:00. The class rosters will be posted in the entrance in front of the office. The Meet and Greet is a chance for students and families to come in to meet their new teacher and see where their classroom is. Please note that today is one of the days that teachers use to set up the classroom and prepare for the beginning of the school year. The classroom may or may not be quite ready, and that is okay! We will end promptly at 12:00 to allow teachers the rest of the day to continue preparations for the first day of school.

Campus After Hours
Please note that on school days, the Garfield Campus opens for community use beginning at 6:00pm in support of after school program needs. The playground is open on weekends and any days that there is no school.
Student personal devices
Student use of personal devices (cell phones, apple watches, etc.) is not allowed at school. Please keep these at home. Fortunately, any technology needed for learning time will be provided here. If students need to contact their parents, they are welcome to use the phone in the office. Thank you for your help with this.
