Due to the unsafe air quality forecasted in the next day, we are rescheduling our meet the teacher and supply pick-up event. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We hope that this new schedule will ensure the safety of everyone involved. Please note the following changes and let us know in the Garfield Office (541-757-5941) if you have any questions.
Please come by the CHS parking lot on 11th Street at the designated time. This is an opportunity for you and your student to meet their teacher (from the car) and pick up necessary school supplies. If you need technology support with the iPad, please bring the device and someone can help troubleshoot at the check-in table. If you cannot get to the parking lot, please contact the Garfield Office and we will make arrangements so you receive supplies.
Kindergarten and 1st Grade – Friday, September 11th: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
2nd Grade and 3rd Grade – Friday, September: 11th: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
4th Grade – Friday, September 11th: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
5th Grade – Thursday, September 10th: 12 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
If you are unable to come at the correct grade level time, you can pick up supplies on Friday the 11th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Please note that teachers will not be available to meet at that time.
All students will have their first class meeting on Zoom on Friday, September 11th at 1:00 p.m. Teachers have already begun scheduling individual meetings with families. If you have already scheduled a meeting for Friday morning, they may be contacting you to reschedule this meeting so they can be at the Meet the Teacher event.
