Dear Garfield Families,
It was really nice to meet with several of you at the Garfield PTA meeting. A couple of fun events to look forward to this spring are the Gecko Run, Books and Breakfast and Field Day!
If you’d like to volunteer to help with school events, please make sure you have completed your volunteer registration process.
Community Health:
We are still in the flu and cold season and Covid is still as well. If students and staff come to school with symptoms, it is likely that those will spread. Please remember to keep following the guidance for when students are sick. When-to-Keep-My-Child-Home-English.pdf

Important upcoming dates:
Next week is a short week; there will be no school on February 2nd and 3rd. We will be working on grading and participating in professional development.
Gecko Club and Boys & Girls Club:
There will be no Gecko Club on Thursday and Friday, February 2nd and 3rd.
The Clubhouse is open on Thursday, February 2nd for an additional fee but will be closed on Friday. Please contact the Boys & Girls club for more information.
