Join our PTA on November 21st, 6-7:30pm – Come and learn more about Garfield and the School District’s dual immersion program. We will have representatives from the District at the meeting to present on the program and to answer your questions! Youth activities by the Gecko Club Staff and snacks will be provided.
Dine-Out at Papa’s Pizza – Monday, November 18th, All-day – Bring a dine-out flyer into Papa’s Pizza, 1030 SW 3rd St, on Monday, November 18th and the Garfield PTA will receive 50% of the value of the food purchased! You also have the choice of purchasing Fundraiser Bucks that are good for all future purchases. These Bucks will earn 25% of their value for the Garfield PTA.
Garfield is starting Chess for Success again this year! The club will meet every Monday and Wednesday on school days from 4:30 to 5:30 and run until spring break. The program will began Wednesday, Nov. 13th in conjunction with Gecko Club. This is a free program for all Garfield K-5. Registration is required to participate and commit to coming at least once a week.
Tamale Sale! Thank you to all who have ordered tamales and offered to help make them! For those who ordered tamales, don’t forget to come pick them up between 4-8pm at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, November 16th.
