Gecko News (11-30-2023)

Dear Garfield Families,

How wonderful to see so many of our 2nd and 3rd grade families at math night last night! We appreciated the conversation and all of your participation! I want to celebrate that our students were using their bilingual skills to participate throughout the event. Way to go Geckos!

Thanks again for coming!

Winter is coming:

Winter officially starts December 21st but we are feeling the chill! These freezing temperatures are a great reminder for us to remind all students to come to school with a warm hooded coat.

When the temperature is below freezing, we will have students wait inside for class to start. Drop off points will not change – please continue to use the drop areas you have been using for your student. However, please remember that arrival can begin at 7:45am – we do not have supervision staff available before that time.

No School

Please note that there is no school this Friday:  December 1st.

Lost and Found

Please feel free to come by to check the lost and found if your student is missing anything.

Important upcoming dates:

Dec. 1:           Non School Day

Dec. 18-Jan.1: Winter Break: No school

**School Resumes January 2nd, 2024

Have a great weekend.
