December is for Giving! Garfield School is hosting a food drive to support our families in need. Before Thursday, December 19th, please consider sending your student in with food that they can drop off in the box in their classroom.
Thank you for making our Book Fair a success! Thank you to all who purchased books at our Book Fair the first week of December, and a huge thank you to our amazing librarian, El Profe, and super-volunteer Peg Kriz for running the book fair this year! We were excited to offer an all-Spanish language book fair for the first time and will be able to provide more than $600 to our teachers to purchase books. Keep an eye out for a second Garfield book fair this spring!
Spanish-Speaking Parent volunteer group meetings! Join us every Friday (school days) from 8:20-10am in the cafeteria to meet more parents, work on classroom projects, and discuss topics of interest. Everyone is welcome!
