Dear Garfield Families,
Thank you to our kinder families for making it over to Kinder Specialist Night! It was really great to see you enjoying some time in specials and in class with your amazing kids! A special thank you to the kindergarten teachers and our PE, Music and Art teachers for putting together this fun event!
Volunteer Station
Garfield now has a volunteer station set up in our work room. If you are a cleared volunteer and would like to help with some projects, feel free to stop by the front office anytime Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to check the volunteer station for projects.
Winter
The official first day of winter is Saturday, December 21st!
Please send students to school with a hooded coat or jacket and closed-toe shoes so that they can enjoy their recess time! And of course, let’s make sure we can get their items back to them if they lose them by making sure their names are written in them somewhere. Initials are fine but please write the grade level to help us find them.
Please let us know if you need help with any winter items for your student.
Winter Break
Winter break is coming up! Our last day of school for this year will be December 20th.
There is no school from December 23rd through January 3rd.
We are back to school, January 6, 2025.
