Dear Garfield Families,
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing break last week. We’ve returned to school during some very cold days! The smiles we saw when the snow started falling yesterday were amazing!
Warm clothes, safe shoes:
We are in winter now and it can be cold but we still go outside during recess if we can. Please make sure to send kids to school with closed toe shoes and their jackets.
It can get pretty slick outside as well, tennis shoes or boots are great for this kind of weather.
We appreciate your help with this!
December Schedule:
December is a short month for schools.
Next Friday is an extra early release day and students are dismissed at 12:30pm.
Also, winter break starts on December 23rd. Students have school through Thursday, December 22nd this month.
