Dear Garfield Families,
It is almost time for winter break. We thought having a spirit week the last week before winter break might be a nice way to end the 2023 calendar year with students. Here are the themes for next week:
Spirit Week:
- Monday: Blue and white Winter Wonderland
- Tuesday: Dress like a teacher day
- Wednesday: Grade Level Colors
- Kinder: Orange
- First: Yellow
- Second: Green
- Third: Red
- Fourth: Blue
- Fifth: Black and white
- Thursday: Favorite Character Day
- Friday: Pajama Day (no slippers – regular shoes please)
Reminder:
It is very cold outside – but we are still enjoying recess outside as much as possible. Please send students to school with hooded coats.
Lost and Found
Please feel free to come by to check the lost and found if your student is missing anything.
We will be donating all items from the lost and found on Thursday, December 14th by noon to clear the space.
No School
Winter break is upon us!
There is no school from Monday, December 18th through Monday, January 1st.
We return to school Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
