February 19th: Dine-in for Taco Vino! 4-9pm, 151 NW Monroe Ave. Let’s show our appreciation for Taco Vino’s generous sponsorship and support of Garfield School! They donated most of the ingredients for our tamale fundraiser and helped the event to be an amazing success!
February 20th: Growing Healthy Kids and Communities: Garfield School! 6-7:30pm, Garfield School. Come to learn what Spanish-speaking families documented in our community environment around developing a healthy community. Join us and help develop strategies and find solutions to improve children’s health! Childcare and a light meal will be provided.
February 27th: Garfield Family Math and Science Night! 6-7:30pm, Garfield School Cafeteria. Parents come enjoy math and science with your kids and work with students from OSU! Dinner provided for all who attend.
March 14th: Winter Wildlife Field Day! 11am-3pm, William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge. Free transportation available for Garfield Families, at Garfield at 10am or 12pm for bus pick-up, contact our school navigator, Harumy Concepcion, for more info or to reserve your spot on the bus!
