Hello Garfield Families!
Mid-year report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, February 9th in their Friday folders. Please take a look in their backpacks or folders. If for any reason, one does not make it home to you, please contact your child’s teacher.
A note from Claudia Cano, Dean of Students:
We are excited to bring back monthly Star students to Garfield. One student per class was chosen by our classroom teachers. These students are leaders in being safe, respectful and responsible. On Monday, February 5th, our January recipients were announced and they were given a certificate to take home and a bracelet to wear. They also had a picture taken to put in our display case in the school. At the end of the month, we will also send these pictures home. From now until the end of the year, we will pick new recipients and recognize these exceptional students on the first school day of the month. Congratulations star students!
