Spring is definitely in the air here at Garfield. Several teachers are planning their spring field trips and end of year celebrations! If you have a chance, feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher if you are able to help them with a field trip, field day or any end of year activities.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Next week is teacher appreciation week. We will be providing treats throughout the week to show our appreciation for the Garfield teachers. A special thank you to the PTA for their support with a special gift. If you would like to have your child bring in a card, special drawing or just some kind words for their teacher, next week would be a great week to plan for that.
District Tours
Just another reminder that there will be tours of Garfield available tonight, Thursday, April 28th from 4-7 pm. We hope you can make it!
Can my student go to school?
- For students UP TO DATE on their vaccination (English)
- For students NOT up to date on their vaccination (English)
Important dates:
– April 28th, 4-7 pm: Garfield tours organized by the School District
– April 29th: Lost and found items are being donated
– May 2-6: Teacher Appreciation Week
– May 13th: 2-hour early dismissal
