Welcome back! We are delighted to have our students back in the building and look forward to continuing to work with you all as we dive into an exciting spring full of fun school events!
5th Grade Slideshow
Parents of 5th graders, if you have any kindergarten or first grade pictures of your student, please consider sending a couple to me. This group was in kindergarten when the pandemic occurred in the spring and spring is when we often take a lot of pictures!
However, they were on site for most of the school year. So, I’m hoping families have some. If you do have some and would be willing to share those with us, please send them to: [email protected].
Volunteering for Bike Safety
Bike Safety Lessons will be for Kindergarten through fifth grade and will run from:
Dates: April 30 – May 13
Times: 8:15-11:10 and 11:40-2:25 Monday through Thursday (no pm classes on Friday).
We have had a few people reach out to help with bike safety! Thank you! We could use a few more volunteers.
You do not need to be a bike rider to volunteer. Volunteers will be helping in various ways like fitting helmets, putting the cones out, etc. All cleared volunteers are welcome!
If you are a cleared volunteer, and can commit to the dates for bike safety, please contact the front office to let us know and we will sign you up. You are also welcome to send me an email.
Conferences
There is a change to the conference days to allow for conference prep and enough time to meet with all families. April 16th is now an extra early release day ending at 12:30pm.
April 16th: School ends at 12:30pm
April 17th: No school: Conferences
April 18th: No school: Conferences
Teachers will be sending out conference sign-ups through Parentsquare on Monday, April 7th. Please watch for this message so you can sign up for your Parent/Teacher conferences.
K-2 Concert
The Kindergarten through Second grade concert will be April 8th from 6:30 – 7:30pm.
We hope you will join us for this wonderful event that your children have been preparing for with our music teacher, Ms. Kinney. Entry will be through the 11th Street gym door and the door will open at 6:15pm to allow families a moment to find seats and settle in.
