Now that we are getting into a routine, time is going by so fast! There are just a couple of items to share for this week:
Arrival Reminder:
Please remember that as students come into the classrooms, there is a required wellness check, attendance and lunch count. It does take longer than usual to do this check in. So it is very important to have students here between 8:00am and 8:15am.
Crowding at the gates:
Thank you all for helping us with alleviating the crowding at the gates during dismissal. People are keeping things moving which is great for making sure that all kids get to where they need to be safely.
Next Year’s Plan:
Please remember to let someone in the office know if your plans have changed and your child will not be attending Garfield Elementary next year.
How to know if you should keep your child at home
Attached is a description of symptoms that we are asking all families to screen their children for before sending their student to school.
