Dear Garfield Families,
At our next staff meeting, we will be taking time to make tentative class lists for the 2024-2025 school year. Our teachers have gotten to know your children well this year and will be taking into consideration many important factors for creating balanced classes. If you have any information that your child’s teacher should take into consideration for this work, please reach out to them to provide it before Wednesday, June 5th.
We are not taking requests for placement with specific teachers. We are fortunate to have teaching teams at every grade level that work closely together and I am confident that all of our teachers will do their very best to meet the needs of each of their students.
5th Grade Parents:
If you have pictures of this cohort at a school event that you would like to share, please send them to [email protected].
If your student came to Garfield in a later grade, you are welcome to send a picture of them at another school event.
The slideshow will be finalized this weekend, so pictures should be in by Friday, June 7th.

June 13: Garfield Community Picnic 5:30pm-7:00pm
June 17: Kinder Graduation 9:00 am (arrive by 8:45am)
June 17: 5th Grade Graduation 1:00pm (arrive by 12:45pm)
June 18: Last day of school: Early dismissal 12:30pm
