- Buses
Any student using buses need to register in advance. Here are the instruction for bus registration:

Bus service is provided for students living one mile or more from their elementary boundary school and 1.5 miles from their boundary middle or high school. Parents of students on a transfer are responsible for transportation.
Bus Route Information:
Bus routes will be posted on the Student Transportation page by Sept 1st
Here is how you will find that information:
-Go to the Student Transportation Page

-Click on Bus Routes then choose your student’s school
-You will then find the closest bus stop to your home and that will be your student’s route. The route number, pick up and drop off times, will all be listed there.
*If you do not see a bus stop near your house, please call STA at 541 – 757 – 1714 and they can assist you.
Be aware that parents will not be notified of the bus stops, they will need to go to the website for that information.
-After September 2nd: please notify the Garfield office about the bus number and the bus stop for your student. For Kindergarteners and 1st graders, we also need the names of adults who will be at the bus stop. Please email our family liaison at [email protected] with that information.
- School Hours
– Start time (First Bell): 8:00am
– Second Bell: 8:05 am
– Dismissal: 2:30pm Monday-Thursday
– Dismissal: 1:30pm Fridays (There are some Fridays when dismissal will be at 12:30 pm. Please see calendar attached for these days)
- Kindergarten
A Principal’s letter will be sent next week to kindergarten parents with more details about the Kindergarten schedule for the first 2 weeks of school.
