Dear Garfield Families,
The students have done a wonderful job the first full week of school! We spent some time the first few days of school reviewing school wide expectations to help students get off to a good start. Our geckos have been doing a great job with safe, respectful and responsible behavior. Soon, we will be doing our yearly bus safety training with students and they will hear some similar language in that training in addition to details about the bus and being a rider on the bus.
This Thursday evening is our Garfield School Picnic and Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together to enjoy a meal and some great company!
The plan for the evening is as follow:
5:30-6:10 Picnic (bring a picnic dinner for your family)
6:10 Families invited into cafeteria for a quick check in and introduction to teachers
6:20-6:50 First Rotation
6:55-7:20 Second Rotation (for those who may need to attend more than one)
7:20 Announcement to conclude the evening
