This year, we are raising money for Garfield’s Music program to purchase guitars and pianos for our Geckos. These instruments would be an incredible addition to our music program that would last for many years for all students at Garfield. Our amazing music teacher Ms. Kinney hopes to buy guitars and pianos this year to allow all students to build their multi instrument skills, and to eventually play mariachi instruments in fourth and fifth grade. All students will benefit from these instruments in learning the foundations of reading, and enjoying playing music together.
Any donation will help make an impact, and any extra funds raised will be used for other PTA-funded student activities.
