There are a lot of ways to get connected and get involved this month! We hope to see you at some of them. Events are always open to all Garfield families; you do not have to be an “official” PTA member to attend. - Tues, Feb 17: General meeting, 6:30-8:00 pm in Garfield Cafeteria
- PTA is entirely volunteer run. Come learn about the different roles in advance of the spring elections and join in planning for spring events. Meeting will be hosted in Spanish with English interpretation and childcare provided.
- Fri, Feb 20: Gecko Movie night, 6:30-8:30 pm in Garfield Cafeteria
- Join us to watch Over the Moon in Spanish with English subtitles
- Sun, Feb 22: New China Buffet Dine Out, 11am – 9 pm 1720 NW 9th St
- Restaurant donates 25% of notified sales
- Tues, Feb 24: Ready, Tech, Go! Workshop (English), 6:30-7:30 pm in Garfield Cafeteria
- Learn tips for building healthy digital habits in your home from the start during the PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! workshop supported by AT&T Feb 24 (English) and Feb 25 (español) at 6:30 pm in the Garfield cafeteria. Interpretation services and child care offered both nights; please attend the workshop that best fits your schedule.
